In a world more and more focused on sustainable practices and knowing where things come from, wool is gaining recognition as the multi-purpose golden material that it is. These six speakers will tell their stories to share their own knowledge of the market and how to creatively yet effectively make desirable products that are good for the globe and the local economy. Karin is a pioneer and a wool specialist in Norway

 

Brynjar Þór Vigfússon

Woolmill on a Farm

Brynjar Þór with his wife is the founder of Gilhagi Wool Mill in Iceland

 

Mia Chemnitz

Qiviut -- Identity-building through local materials & brand

Mia is the Co-owner of Qiviut in Greenland

Misa is the Managing & Creative Director of Shetland Wool Adventures
